Days are getting longer and nature is awakening after a winter slumber, but Tift Nature Preserve is full of action too! Let's check it out on a stroll around the preserve.

Tulips, lilies, and more at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens.

Drop in for an egg-stremely fun time at Tift Nature Preserve! Learn about animals that come from eggs, make some spring-themed crafts, dye eggs using natural dyes (dye provided, please bring your own hard-boiled eggs; 6 eggs per person maximum) and more! 10AM-2PM Fees: Non-Members:$7 Families Registration: Pre-registration required.

3:30pm – 9:30pm – Join us in celebrating Dyngus Day on the East Side. The Terminal will be open from 3:30 – 5:30 for self guided tours, food and drink begins at 5:30. Come early and beat the line! The Dyngus Day parade starts at 5, and ends at the Terminal at 5:45. Admission is $10 and include a wrist band which gives $2 admission to other East Side venues. You can buy presale tickets at Brown Paper Tickets or at the door. Music from Those Idiots, performances by the Polish Heritage Dancers, beer and food as always! Don’t miss it!

Starts at Corpus Christ Church on Clark St and ends at Buffalo Central Terminal

9am to 1pm – Come and help us prepare the concourse and grounds for yet another busy summer season! Gloves, work attire recommended and tools are always welcome.

TAPS is returning to Central Terminal for another ghost hunt in 2010. Investigate the paranormal with Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango from Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters Academy with special guest John Zaffis, from 6:30pm to 2am. The event is being run by Ideal Event Management, and tickets are now on sale.
